Agent Drew Rosenhaus Gives Dallas Cowboys Stamp Of Approval

During today’s press conference with Terrell Owens, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus was there. Why Rosenhaus had to participate in the press conference is beyond me, but he did. Rosenhaus has haggled the Cowboys to sign three contracts for three of his players, most notably Marion Barber and Owens. This is what he said:

“Simply put, I wish I had more players on the Cowboys,” Rosenhaus said. “The Cowboys are an organization that I beleive are determined to win and part of winning is getting players signed. “This organization has the commitment and the passion and the zeal to sign players that can help them win. I admire that. I admire working with Jerry Jones, with Stephen Jones, with the Cowboys organization. I have players on every team. Without offending other clubs, there is no better team to work with.”

Is this guy a douchebag, or what? Drew, you win the Douchebag of the Week award, congratulations. Not only are you right, but you did in fact offend every other NFL team. Good job. What Rosenhaus doesn’t realize is he and the world of agents, have ruined sports. Why does a player need an agent in the first place? It is an unregulated business based on pure greed.
