The Dallas Cowboys gave longterm contracts today to two of the most important players on this young football team.
Both Marion Barber and Terence Newman are Cowboys for a long, long time.
Newman gets a six-year, $50.2 million contract. Barber signed a seven-year, $45 million contract that includes $16 million guaranteed.
The Cowboys coaches expressed concern this week about Barber’s absence from work outs with the team. That hopefully will end now that he has a new contract. Newman hasn’t made much noise, but his new contract proves that he is a key figure to the success of this team.
I think this is news to celebrate, so let’s get it on!
{KUDOS to NUMBER_9 for making this the first Dallas Cowboys blog to have the breaking news about Barber and Newman!}
