Terrell Owens Makes Acting Debut This Week, BOYEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Terrell Owens will make his debut in the sitcom “Under One Roof” on Wednesday. The show airs on the MyNetworkTV, which I have never heard of and truly have no idea if I even have it on my DirecTV package. I seriously doubt I do, and I have an odd feeling the show only airs in Compton. Yet somehow, this is “prime-time” television.
T.O. plays the long-lost brother of the show’s star, Flavor Flav. Here’s the plot line of this amazing show, according to the Associated Press:
Owens tries convincing Flav and sitcom sibling Kelly Perine that they’re all brothers in hopes of getting them to invest in his Web site.
Owens tells the AP that he may consider acting after his football career, which will likely end in a few years.
“If I’m going to really consider doing acting after football, this a great start to let me get my feet wet,” Owens said. “For an actor trying to become an A-lister, I think I’m on the bottom of the pile. I’m a D-lister.”
If anyone has this network, I would love an honest review of the show. Show clips will get bonus points, and possible cash payment. I have a hard time believing T.O. steals the show as an actor, but we’ll see.
I’ve never heard of Under One Roof, and I’m not sure if MyNetworkTV is even a channel. I think they have deals with other channels to air their material. For example, I saw a couple of IFL (International Fight League) fight cards on FOX late night, but they were advertising it as MyNetworkTV. So, maybe look for it to air/re-air on your local Fox channel as they could be an affiliate.
