Dallas Cowboys Star On Hard Knocks Again

HBO will film the Dallas Cowboys on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” program this year. The Kansas City Chiefs are up first.
The program is a weekly behind-the-scene look of the Cowboys preparing for the season. HBO filmed the Cowboys back in 2002, when Dave Campo was in his final season as head coach. It was pretty embarrassing. That was the year that the Cowboys were all goosebumpy over Chad Hutchison. The show also had one of the Cowboys best special teams coaches, Joe Avezzano, appearing from time to time.
I don’t get HBO, but I may order it for a month or two so I can watch this program.
Call up your cable provider and ask if they have any promotions going on…they’ll usually package HBO with another premium channel for a month of free viewing.
May 6th, 2008 at 7:22 amIsn’t there a "Hard Knocks" curse like the "Madden curse?" No team featured on hard knocks has done well the following season, or something like that? I know it was true for the first few seasons (Dallas, Ravens) but I stopped keeping track.

May 7th, 2008 at 8:09 amWell the Ravens were featured shortly after they had won a superbowl and were still in the playoffs regularly. So I don’t think it’s fair to say they were automatically a crappy team. But can anyone tell me if a single team featured on Hard Knocks had a winning season? Did any of them go to the playoffs that year? Just curious.

It is bad enough that they ran Parcells out of town…he would never have allowed this nonsense.
The Cowboys have an under-performing, over-rated QB who is going to continue to crumble under pressure.
PacMan and TO should provide endless, team-destroying antics that will warm the hearts of every Cowboy hater.
