A story here brings some early excitement about rookies Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick. A read a few forums posts that stated Scandrick actually outperformed the first round pick, Jenkins, in the drills. It seems Scandrick is playing with a chip on his shoulder, which is fine with me.
Here’s an interesting snippet from the article:
“And if the tattoo on his right arm is accurate, he’s not afraid to work: “What doesn’t kill me only makes me better.”
I personally don’t care if Scandrick starts over Jenkins. We obviously need someone better than Jacques Reeves ever was, and it is very possible that both of these guys can do that. If such occurs, the Dallas Cowboys already are in a stronger position than they were last year.

Plus, with their speed and athletic ability, the Cowboys just might have found two dangerous gunners on the punt coverage team. Not sure about you, but I’d rather defensive guys running down field to make tackles instead of a bunch of wide receivers
