What Will Jerry Do?

I cannot recall a draft in Jerry Jones‘ 20-year history that has so much anticipation and energy wrapped into it. Keep in mind that Jones has traded in 14 of his 20 drafts. I think there’s a majority of us who really hope he decides to keep both first round picks, but I would almost bet the DeMarcus Ware-Marcus Spears draft is lingering. With Spears not ever really materializing into the player we all had hoped, it just shows that even players in the first round may not be productive.

Ed Werder with ESPN just said that if Darren McFadden drops past pick 6, the Cowboys may look to move up to take him.  Jones will also try to persuade the Detroit Lions to give up Roy Williams, dangling that 28th pick in front of Matt Millen’s eyes.
