Wrong Long Signs With Dolphins Ending Trade Rumors With Cowboys

ESPN is reporting that the Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms with offensive lineman Jake Long to make him the No. 1 pick in the draft Saturday. This kills all rumors that the Dolphins were a possible trade partner with the Dallas Cowboys so Jerry Jones could snag Darren McFadden.

The Cowboys still have the Rams, Raiders, and Falcons that they can trade with to move up in the draft.

I cannot really say the Dolphins are making a mistake here, because Long should be a real good player. But I still think Chris Long is the best player in this draft, with Vernon Gholston second. The St. Louis Rams MUST take Chris Long with that second pick and bypass bigman Glenn Dorsey.
