The Landry Hat is Away
Hello my Army of Cowboys fans,
I am in bumphuck Pennsylvania for a wedding and I won’t be back until Sunday night-Monday morning. I brought my internet card but it doesn’t work very well out here. I feel like I am on dial up. So, I cannot make posts as much as I usually do.
Carry on. If any breaking news happens while I am away, discuss it here. See you all soon.

yaaaaaaay!!! no more cowboys propoganda!!! whoo hooo!!!
April 4th, 2008 at 11:21 pmDon’t you Eagles fans have some guys with broken necks to laugh and cheer at? City of Brotherly Love …righhhhhht
April 5th, 2008 at 5:58 pmI love that Landry calls for his army and two of the three responses are from Cowboys-haters. Your army has routed Landry! Welcome to Redskins Nation!
April 5th, 2008 at 7:44 pmNo,no,no this is a Cowboys site! You Redskins and Eagles fans are not worthy to be on such a great site! Time to pop another top……go home haters!
April 5th, 2008 at 9:02 pmSkids dude, you misunderstand as always. Landry wasn’t calling for us he was greeting us and inviting us to post news. You and the Iggle are NOT news you’re scum and as octo says "not worthy". Although I do enjoy some of your attempts at intellect from time to time, coming here to just bash is uncool.
April 5th, 2008 at 9:40 pmHey Cowboys fans, did you know that we were voted the most evil team on a poll on the Redskins blog off of fan sided forums. How gay is that. I am a fan of the most evil team in football. EVIL, Badass Dallas Cowboys!
April 5th, 2008 at 10:15 pmDallas Cowboys linebacker Akin Ayodele has heard all the talk about free-agent signing Zach Thomas being brought in to take his starting position. But he has no plans of giving it up according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Ayodele has started the past two years at the weakside inside linebacker position opposite Bradie James since signing a five-year, $17.5 million contract that lured him from Jacksonville in 2006. Despite the presence of Thomas, a seven-time Pro Bowler, Ayodele said he doesn’t see things changing heading into the 2008 season."It’s like every year; it’s how you play," Ayodele said. "I’m going into the season like it’s my position. I am the starter and nothing has changed."Source: Star-Telegram
April 6th, 2008 at 11:41 amMost Cowboys blogs are just that – about the Cowboys. Other sites spend their time hating the Cowboys rather than worry about their own team. Seems like the evil ones are the Cowboy haters. Those Redskins blog are just sewage. And the Eagles fans cheer people when they break their necks. Who is evil??
April 6th, 2008 at 12:18 pmthat’s just the point. we all love that stuff. that’s why we tune in here folks….who wants to here a bunch of sugar coated shit about how good our cowboys are goin to be? come on trash our ass all you want, i know better, cause when the dust settles, and they crown us nfc east champs again, and bring those giants, baby, we’ll see who’s ass gets kicked this time around. if they don’t talk trash on us, they ain’t our opponents, right????? just look at it as really a case of respect to our great team….
April 6th, 2008 at 12:44 pmi just took that poll on the right hand side column of who are your most hated team, hell i hate em all, if they ain’t cowboy!!!!!where can i vote that in there????? i hate em all, you hear me i hate all their asses. hate em…just call me the "don rickels" of this sight…..hate em
April 6th, 2008 at 1:27 pmWe need to start a topic of discussion since our boy Dan is on vacation with Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo in Pennsylvania. I wander how their wedding went? Dan will tell us all about it when he gets back I’m sure, but do you think he cried? I just see a guy in a Fadora hat holding a little man and crying when she says I do. Was Adam Sandler the wedding singer? Did Dan eat all the chocolate truffles? Did Dan sing "Do you really want to hurt me?" I just hope now that the couple are married that Tony can keep it together when she is there at the games, and quit trying to show off for the ladies. He’s got the stuff, it’s just time to BRING IT when it counts. Do you guys think Parcells was right in bringing in Tony Romo like he did and benching Bledsoe? I personally am glad he did, because now he should be in his prime. He’s got the experience and the talent around him this year to make it happen. Believe that. Don’t be hatin on my QB no more Dan. You know you love em. He’s our boy. And don’t be trying to deny you didn’t go to their wedding and drink all the Miller Lite. I know it was you because I was at the races all weekend!
April 6th, 2008 at 2:25 pmI hate the Cowboys but even I have to admit that Romo is a good quarterback. Besides, Peter King named Tony Romo the MVP of Smiling. I shit you not, he actually wrote that. Seriously though, I can’t see how anyone would think that benching Bledsoe was a bad move unless they were delusional enough to think that Bledsoe would have taken them to a superbowl.
April 6th, 2008 at 10:18 pmThank you Redskins guy, I mean honestly fellas Romo only had 2 bad games last year that was against the Bills which he ended up bringin us back and against the Eagles which didnt matter. As for the Giants game your sorely mistaken if you think that was his fault, the interception at the end was pretty much a hail marry you cant get lucky all the time. Hes our boy and in my opinon hes the 3rd best QB in the NFL behind Petyon Manning and Brady and thats only becasue he doesnt have a Ring
April 7th, 2008 at 2:36 pmThe Giants game is no where Romo fault. He had no other pass he just threw hoping someone would catch come on it was 4th down no one open. I blame it on Crayton and Leonard Davis. If Davis didnt try to keep blocking strahan while he was already one the ground we wouldent have got the 15 yard penalty. Even then Tony Romo threw a perfect pass to get us pass that penalty to Crayton and he drops it. Romo did what Romo does the media needs to start looking at other players also. Anyways how did the media not see Davis penalty as a big penalty that cost the game also. Just like T.O. said that game was lost as a team.
April 7th, 2008 at 4:07 pmAMEN as much as i love crayton and hes never given us a reason to rag on him before, but that key drop broke my heart. BUT ill take tht last minute hailmary catch when he burned Sean Taylor on thanksgiving anyday.
April 7th, 2008 at 5:07 pmTo be fair, Romo has had more than two bad games. He was pretty terrible in the Carolina game last year, but he hurt his thumb that game I believe. He was also bad in week 17 versus my beloved Redskins, though he was without TO that week and the entire team played poorly. Certainly he’s had plenty of good games and he’s a good qb, but let’s not go crazy and say that he’s perfect.
April 7th, 2008 at 7:21 pmGuess the Cowboys are certain they don’t want Aaron Glenn. The Boys could have got him back, but according to NFL.com he just signed with the Saints. I know he’s old, but I’m not too sure about the depth we have there right now.
April 7th, 2008 at 7:25 pmRomo’s my quarterback. He’s the man. Everybody has their bad days, but for the amount of time he’s spent in the lime light, he is doing great. Just Compare his first year and second year to Troy Aikman, and you know what I mean. Now he’s gotta lead the Boys to and through the big one to truly be GREAT. Without the ring to prove it, you can’t say he’s perfect. At the same time, I think he will pull through for us this year and we get to see T.O. cry again. Tears of joy!
