Report: Pacman Jones A Cowboy?

The Dallas Cowboys are apparently signing Pacman Jones after giving the Tennessee Titans a fifth round pick. The report is here. I have no idea how accurate rototimes is, but I think it is OK to report it here as a rumor with the link. We can scream at rototimes if the information is wrong.

This is good news for the Cowboys, who very well could have gotten a steal with Pacman for a fifth rounder. It will all revolve around how he behaves. He’s a young guy and it’s not hard to change your friends and take life more seriously with your riches and fame.

The Cowboys now have a kick off returner of the caliber of Deion Sanders.  Pacman was a great threat on special teams, and that alone is worth his place on this team. But the talent he has at corner is just as exciting.

If this is true, I am curious to know how Pacman will be used in the current scheme with Anthony Henry and Terence Newman as the corner starters. Will Pacman just play nickel and dime packages for this year, and the Cowboys can seek trades for Henry. It’s late and I am tired.

Apparently, the Cowboys are planning a press conference Monday afternoon.
