how come bryant cant get it together in the booth but brian (cbs sports) is way better than him?

I agree CowboysCards, Gumble does seem to do a better job on the now defunct HBO program. But live in the booth, he cannot get it together. It's just downright sad.

He's just not a play by play guy!  I have seen HBO Real Sports a few times and he does a decent job with that even though he comes off a bit aloof and a touch arrogant!  He is just plain horrible in the broadcast booth.   You would think he would start to improve but after 2 years he is simply stinking the joint out.  Collinsworth doesn't help things either but at least he knows the game.  I don't think Gumble knows a football from a baseball.  I am forced to turn down the volume when I watch a game on NFL Network.  When is this guys contract up?  I think he spends half his time checking on his 401k while he's in the booth doing play by play.  He seems to get lost and looks for confirmation from Collinsworth; "Was that 25 yard pass a first down?"  duh!

My 9 year old nephew can do better than him....

Dear Greg "Bumble" Grumble , Due to the fact fact the cowboys have so many games on the NFL network I am forced to sit through and listen to you butcher players names , facts , history , ect . Please do yourself a favor , do us cowboy fans a favor go to the same speech class that George W. went to help himself out .  P.S. - We all know why you got the job anyway. (wink wink )
