Is Pacman Deal Signed?
I won’t vouch for the accuracy here, and it’s an odd report anyway, but according to this site the Dallas Cowboys have agreed in principle with embattled cornerback Pacman Jones. This site says the Cowboys will give the Titans a 7th round pick, which seems really low. This information comes from “undisclosed sources in Dallas.”
I have to say that if this is the case, WHAT A STEAL!!! If Pacman continues to be a rough-and-tough clubgoing villain then the Cowboys can drop him without much pain at all.
There is absolutely NO RISK in this trade. That’s my take on it.

March 25th, 2008 at 8:37 amPacman for a 7th is a steal. I like this deal a lot. 7th rounders are long shots and likely end up on the Practice Squad. If true, Pacman could step right in a nickel and dime and immediately upgrade the defense and return team. I’m no Pacman fan.. but when he puts on the helmet, he is just another Cowboy..

But before you get too excited, Christ Mortensen of ESPN says that there can’t be a trade until Jones is re-instated which means there is plenty of time for another team to get in on this. -DW
