ESPN: PacMan Jones To Be Reinstated
For those of you who didn’t think embattled NFL cornerback Pacman Jones wouldn’t see the light of day this season may want to reconsider. According to ESPN’s NFL weirdo John Clayton, Pacman is likely to be reinstated before the draft in late April.
Clayton also confirms that the Dallas Cowboys are showing the most interest. He would not rule out New Orleans or New England as takers. Clayton believes a fifth-round pick could get a Pacman trade done.
Dallas certainly would give up a 5th round pick for Pacman. He may not be a starting cornerback but he will return punts and kicksoffs, which is an exciting prospect.
I think Pacman will be signed very soon, folks.

ahhhhh my worst fear is coming true…oh well…..I hope this work out because he is most certainly coming to Dallas.
March 24th, 2008 at 1:00 pmI say grab him as soon as we can. For a 5th round pick he is worth it. Sure he might screw up again but a 5th round pick is not giving up that much. Clayton is a weirdo.

March 24th, 2008 at 1:02 pmI just read on espn.com that Pacman and his agent are flying into Dallas tomorrow. He is suposed to appear on the Michael Irvin radio show as well. This guy is a thug but maybe he can turn things around.
March 24th, 2008 at 1:12 pmIt just makes sense to sighn him if we can get him for a price that wont hurt us. Hes expressed in multiple press confrences that Dallas is where he wants to go. And who needs a corner/punt returner more than the Cowboys. Your getting first round talent for a 5th round pick if that may be the case. I know everyones concerned about his THUGNESS maybe his lack of conditioning but fellas we need a corner if not a punt returner not to mention how much this will help out with our draft scenario.Regardless fellas its worth the little risk of a low salray or 5th rounder. We still need to Draft a corner first though for Two reasons 1. Newman will turn 30 this season and Henry will be 32. And 2. To cover our butts in case Pacman doesnt work out.
March 24th, 2008 at 2:38 pmDear Landry hat , He will replace anothey henry as the starting corner you can count on it. He is a top 5 corner in this league when he plays which leads me to believe you’ve never seen him play. Henry gave up so many big plays last year it is pathetic i.e Plaxico Burress. You all focus too much on charchter issues when jerry jones is a risk taker and has been since he has owned the team. your not a cowboy fan if you worry about charchter issues thats the same song cowboy haterz like espn have been on about for years because they are all 49ers fans like chris " big a$$ " berman.
March 24th, 2008 at 3:06 pmIf we get Pac Man Jones then this is what I think will happen. The Dolphins trade the #1 pick with Dallas and we give them our #22, next years #1 and Maybe Bobby Carpenter or Akin Ayodele. I hope it does not happen but I got this feeling that Jones is going to go get Mcfadden one way or another. He will not sign Marion Barber to a long term deal and let him go next year. He might even be able to trade the #28 for a veteren reciever.
March 24th, 2008 at 5:40 pmI think we already discussed why we cant trade carpenter (4.5 mil hit on the salary cap) and yes we should still take a CB with the 22nd pick in case Pacman gets in trouble (again). Then again pacman could end up going somewhere (like the lametriots or the lions)
March 24th, 2008 at 7:23 pmGetting PacMan with a 5th would change my entire philosophy on the draft. CB wouldn’t be as important as it is right now. We still need a young kid in the first 3 rounds, but signing P-M would allow us to really be aggressive in addressing our two offensive weaknesses, WR and RB, with our first 2 picks. I WANT MENDENHALL!!! So to do this, we need to trade with Buffalo at #11. Most mock drafts have Rashad going in the 12-15 area. Buffalo WANTS/NEEDS a big WR in round one. If they have #22 they can probably have their choice of Sweed or Hardy. Kelly from OKL. will probably be gone, but I don’t think there’s much of a difference in the three. To go from 22 to 11, it’ll take a #2, but it’s worth it. MB3 and Mendenhall would be DEATH on opposing teams! We can still go CB or WR at 28 and get the best of the other in round 3. MAKE IT HAPPEN JJ!!!
