I probably need a disclosure for this mock draft. I had nothing to do with it. I have to say, this mock is a little wacky, but then again, Steamroller did it.
I don’t really agree with several of the picks, including Dorsey dropping to 10th and the Chiefs picking a CB. I don’t think corner is the Chiefs’ top need. Devin Thomas before Mario Manningham? No way. Vernon Gholston dropping to the Panthers? Hell no. He’s a top 6 pick. In fact, I might disagree with 50 percent of this mock. He gets some things right on, like Calais Campbell no longer a first rounder. His stock is dropping fast.
However, here is the second fan-created mock draft. Enjoy!!!
| Team |
1st Round |

1. Miami Dolphins -Chris Long, DE, Virginia
- FirST OF ALL, PARCELLS WILL TRY TO TRADE DOWN WITH THIS PICK BECAUSE THIS TEAM NEEDS SO MUCH AND SIGNING ONE PLAYER TO A BOAT LOAD OF MONEY IS NOT GOING TO GIVE THEM THE CAP SPACE TO DO WHAT THEY WANT TO DO IN THE FUTURE. PARCELLS HAS TO REBUILD THE TEAM. CONSIDERING NO ONE IS WILLING TO TRADE WITH PARCELLS, MIAMI PICKS CHRIS LONG. HE IS THE BEST DEFENSIVE END PROSPECT IN THE DRAFT, AND PARCELLS WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HIM SINCE IT IS POSSIBLE THAT TAYLOR WON’T BE AROUND. BUT IF POSSIBLE A TRADE WILL BE MADE.
2. St. Louis Rams -JAKE LONG, OT, MICHIGAN
- ST.LOUIS NEEDS OL IMPROVEMENT TO GET STEPHEN JACKSON GOING AT HIS FULL POTENTIAL. WITH THE SIGNING OF JACOB BELL AND THE RETURN OF ORLANDO PACE THIS COMPLETES A GREAT IMPROVEMENT ON THE O-LINE FOR 08′.
3. Atlanta Falcons* -MATT RYAN , QB, BOSTON COLLEGE
- WITH ALL THE DRAMA FROM THE VICK ORDEAL, BLANKS WANTS TO PUT HIM IN THE PAST AND MOVE ON. HE MAKES HIS STATEMENT BY SIGNING MATT RYAN AS THE QUARTERBACK OF THE FUTURE.

4. Oakland Raiders* -SEDRICK ELLIS , DT, USC
- DARREN MCFADDEN LOOKS SO TEMPTING, BUT SINCE WARREN SAPP HAS RETIRED, THIS LEAVES A NEED FOR REPLACEMENT. MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THE RE-SIGNING OF TOMMY KELLY AND THE ADDITION OF WILLIAM JOSEPH ARE ENOUGH,BUT LOOK UP THE FACTS ON THESE GUYS. WILLIAM JOSEPH IS A BUST. HE DIDN’T EVEN PLAY LAST YEAR, BUT EVEN WHEN HE PLAYED PREVIOUSLY, HE DID’NT PRODUCE. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF REALLY GOOD DEFENSIVE TACKLES TO CHOOSE FROM, BUT AL DAVIS CHOOSES ONE CLOSE TO HOME, SEDRICK ELLIS USC.

5. Kansas City Chiefs* -MIKE JENKINS , CB, SOUTH FLORIDA
- THEIR BIGGEST NEED IS AT CB, AND THEY WILL ONLY GET ONE CHANCE TO GRAB JENKINS. THEY MAY TALK TRADES SINCE THE BEST RB AND WR ARE STILL ON THE BOARD. AN OFFENSIVE LINEMAN IS CONSIDERED, BUT IN THE END THEY TAKE JENKINS AT CORNERBACK.
6. New York Jets -DARREN MCFADDEN , RB, ARKANSAS
- DARREN MCFADDEN IS THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER OFFENSIVE IMPACT PLAYER IN THIS DRAFT, AND THE JETS WILL NOT PASS HIM UP. (IF DALLAS IS TO TRADE UP FOR HIM, ATLANTA IS THE LOGICAL TEAM TO TRADE WITH SINCE AL DAVIS COULD TURN TO THE SECOND ROUND AND TAKE A LESS THAN GREAT DEFENSIVE TACKLE TO SELECT MCFADDEN WITH THE #4 PICK, EVENTHOUGH DEFENSIVE TACKLE IS A GREATER NEED.)
7. New England Patriots (From 49ers) -LEODIS MCKELVIN, CB, TROY
- ONE REASON…MAKE THAT TWO, THEY JUST LOST ASANTE SAMUEL AND RANDALL GAY. ENOUGH SAID.

8. Baltimore Ravens -BRIAN BROHM, QB, LOIUSVILLE
- EVERYONE KNOWS THE QB SITUATION IN BALTIMORE. MCNAIR’S TIME IS UP, AND BROHM IS CONSIDERED BY MANY TO BE THE BEST IN THE DRAFT.THIS IS A EASY PICK FOR BALTIMORE.

9. Cincinnati Bengals -MALCOLM KELLY, WR, OKLAHOMA
- CINCY’S #1 AND #2 RECIEVERS ARE A LITTLE DISGRUNTLED THESE DAYS, AND A DISTRACTION TO THE TEAM. AND EVENTHOUGH BIG DT PROSPECT GLENN DORSEY IS TEMPTING, HE HAS A FEW QUESTION MARKS ABOUT HIS HEALTH AND WILL NEED TO HAVE A BIG PRO DAY WORKOUT AND CHECK-UP TO RAISE HIS STOCK BACK UP. WITH ALL THE WR DRAMA IN CINCY, THEY CHOOSE TO GO THAT WAY. MALCOLM KELLY IS CONSIDERED BY MOST TO BE THE BEST WIDE RECIEVER IN THE DRAFT, AND HE CAN PICK UP THE #2 SPOT SO OCHO CINCO CAN GET HIS WISH AND HIT THE ROAD.(CINCINATTI WILL GET A LOT IN TRADE FOR #85 AND A LOT THEY NEED.)
10. New Orleans Saints -GLENN DORSEY, DT, LSU
- NEW ORLEANS PICKED UP RANDALL GAY TO ADDRESS THE SECONDARY WEAKNESS IN FREE AGENCY AND WILL TAKE A COUPLE MORE DB’S LATER, BUT THE DEFENSIVE LINE IS AN AGING GROUP FOR THE MOST PART AND ALMOST AS MUCH OF A WEAKNESS. GLENN DORSEY IS THE MOST LOGICAL CHOICE SINCE THERE ISN’T A LOT OF GREAT TALENT AT DEFENSIVE TACKLE IN THIS DRAFT, AND THAT IS THE AREA OF THE DEFENSIVE LINE THAT NEEDS THE MOST ATTENTION.
11. Buffalo Bills -DEVIN THOMAS, WR, MICHIGAN STATE
- THE BILLS STILL HAVE A LITTLE TIME TO LAND A RECIEVER TO PAIR UP WITH LEE EVANS AND GIVE EDWARDS SOME TARGETS IN FREE AGENCY, BUT AT THIS POINT THEY WILL LIKELY WAIT. THEY FELT COMING INTO THE DRAFT THEY HAD A LEGIT SHOT OF LANDING MALCOLM KELLY, BUT THEY ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS ONE. DEVIN THOMAS WILL BE A GREAT ADDITION TO THIS BUFFALO TEAM.

12. Denver Broncos -RYAN CLADY, OT, BOISE STATE
- JAY CUTLER COULD DESPERATELY USE SOME BETTER PASS PROTECTION. SINCE JAKE LONG IS OFF THE BOARD, THEY TURN THEIR EYES UPON THIS 6′-6″ 320 LB BEAST FROM THE LAND OF BLUE.
13. Carolina Panthers -VERNON GHOLSTON, DE, OHIO STATE
- ANOTHER TALENTED DE, AND JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED FOR CAROLINA. JULIUS PEPPERS HAD A DIFFICULT YEAR LAST YEAR AND NEEDS A PARTNER TO HELP RUSH THE PASSER. THIS GUY LOVES PUTTING QB’S IN THE TURF, AND HE IS GOOD AT IT. VERNON GHOLSTON TURNED IN GREAT #’S AT THE COMBINE ALSO, PUSHING HIM AHEAD OF A LOT OF COMPETITION AT DE IN THIS DRAFT.

14. Chicago Bears -RASHARD MENDENHALL, RB, ILLINOIS
- LOSING THOMAS JONES LAST YEAR, AND THE POOR PRODUCTION THEY GET FROM CEDRIC BENSON MAKES THIS LOCAL FAVORITE AT RB A NO BRAINER. MENDENHALL FITS THE NEED, AND THE FANS LOVE IT.

15. Detroit Lions -CHRIS WILLIAMS, OT, VANDERBILT
- KITNA IS ON THE GROUND HALF THE GAME, IF NOT MORE, EVERY GAME. CHRIS WILLIAMS, ANOTHER GUY CAPABLE OF PROVIDING SOME PUSH UP FRONT IS AT THE TOP OF THE LIST SINCE LONG AND CLADY ARE OFF THE BOARD.
16. Arizona Cardinals -AQIB TALIB, CB, KANSAS
- THE SECONDARY IS THE BIGGEST CONCERN, AND WITH JENKINS AND MCKELVIN OFF THE BOARD THEY CHOOSE ANOTHER TALENTED GUY WHO SHOULD BE READY TO GO REAL SOON. A GOOD COVER AND PHYSICAL CORNER, AQIB TALIB IS THE COMPLETE PACKAGE.

17. Minnesota Vikings -QUENTIN GROVES, DE, AUBURN
- THEY ADDRESSED THE WR PROBLEM IN FREE AGENCY AND TURN TO IMPROVE THE DEFENSIVE SIDE OF THE BALL FIRST IN THE DRAFT. QUENTIN GROVES IS YET ANOTHER DE ON TOP OF THE CHARTS. HE WILL BE A FUTURE STAR IN THIS ALREADY GREAT DEFENSE.
18. Houston Texans -FELIX JONES, RB, ARKANSAS
- HOUSTON AVERAGES LESS THAN 100 RUSHING YARDS PER GAME. THEY NEED A GOOD RB TO COMPETE IN THIS VERY TOUGH DIVISION. FELIX JONES IS A GREAT PICK UP TO SUPERCHARGE THE TEXAN’S RUNNING GAME.
19. Philadelphia Eagles -DESEAN JACKSON, WR, CALIFORNIA
- THIS ONE IS AN EYE OPENER THIS EARLY IN FIRST ROUND, MOSTLY DUE TO HIS SMALL STATURE, BUT A COUPLE OF THINGS ARE CONSIDERED. HE IS A BURNER. COMPARABLE, I THINK, TO ANOTHER LESS THAN FLASHY RECIEVER THAT PLAYED ALONG SIDE OF STALLWORTH LAST YEAR. RING A BELL? IT SHOULD. WES WELKER WAS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE NEW ENGLAND OFFENSIVE SUCCESS LAST YEAR. PLUS DESEAN HAS A VERY HARD WORK ETHIC. AS A MATTER OF FACT, HE HAS BEEN TRAINING WITH JERRY RICE IF THAT TELLS YOU ANYTHING ABOUT THAT.
20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -LIMAS SWEED, WR, TEXAS
- THE CORNERBACK POSITION COULD BE ADDRESSED HERE, BUT MUCH LIKE MINNESOTA TOOK A RISK IN A INJURY PRONE RB LAST YEAR, TAMPA BAY TAKES A RISK AND SELECTS LIMAS SWEED WHO MANY THOUGHT BEFORE THE 2007 SEASON STARTED COULD BE THE BEST RECIEVER IN THE DRAFT.
21. Washington Redskins -KENNY PHILLIPS, S, MIAMI
- THIS ONE IS A TOUGH PICK TO THINK ABOUT. AS SAD OF A STORY AS IT IS, TAYLOR NEEDS A REPLACEMENT AND WITH KENNY PHILLIPS STILL ON THE BOARD AT #21 IT JUST IS A NEED THAT CAN’T BE PASSED UP.
22. Dallas Cowboys (From Browns) -DOMINIQUE RODGERS CROMARTIE, CB, TENNESSEE STATE
- THIS IS THE BEST AVAILABLE PLAYER TO FIT THIER NEEDS AT THIS POINT, AND IF THEY WAIT TIL THE #28 PICK, HE WILL BE GONE. DRC IS THE TOTAL PACKAGE AND COULD REPLACE THE AGING ANTHONY HENRY AS SOON AS THIS YEAR AS A STARTER. HENRY’S ROLE THEN COULD BE A BACK-UP CORNER AND FREE SAFETY.
23. Pittsburgh Steelers -BRANDEN ALBERT, OG, VIRGINIA
- WITH FANECA LEAVING, PITTSBURGH NEEDS THE BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE TO IMPROVE THE O-LINE. THEY DON’T HAVE TO LOOK FAR IN FINDING THIS ONE. HE IS THE TOP RATED GUARD IN THE DRAFT, PLUS HE CAN PLAY TACKLE IF NECESSARY.
24. Tennessee Titans -DERRICK HARVEY, DE, FLORIDA
- AFTER LOSING ANTWAN ODOM AND TRAVIS LABOY, A DE IS A MUST. DERRICK HARVEY IS THE BEST AVAILABLE AT THIS POINT I BELIEVE, BUT PHILLIP MERLING OR CALAIS CAMPBELL ARE ALSO POSSIBILITIES.

25. Seattle Seahawks -KENTWAN BALMER, DT, NORTH CAROLINA
- SEATTLE NEEDS TO ADD DEPTH AT DT, AND BALMER IS THE BEST CHOICE NOW SINCE DORSEY AND ELLIS ARE OFF THE BOARD.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars -PHILLIP MERLING, DE, CLEMSON
- BOBBY MCCRAY AND MARCUS STROUD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS THE BEST CHOICE.
27. San Diego Chargers -ANTOINE CASON, CB, ARIZONA
- HEARTBROKEN THEY LOST A CHANCE AT ANOTHER CROMARTIE, SAN DIEGO TURNS TO DRAFT ANOTHER GOOD CORNER NOW SINCE THEY ARE GOING FAST.
28. Dallas Cowboys -CHRIS JOHNSON, RB, EAST CAROLINA
- WITH D MAC AND FELIX JONES GONE AT DALLAS’S FIRST PICK,THEY WAIT TILL THE SECOND AND SELECT CHRIS JOHNSON. THIS GUY IS TOO TALENTED TO GO DEEP INTO THE SECOND ROUND, AND DALLAS NEEDS A FAST BACK TO COMPLIMENT BARBER’S BRUISING STYLE. THIS GUY IS THE FASTEST AMONG THIS RB CLASS. (JAMAAL CHARLES WOULD BE A GOOD CHOICE HERE ALSO IF JOHNSON IS NOT AVAILABLE.)
29. San Francisco 49ers (From Colts) -JAMES HARDY, WR, INDIANA
- THIS OFFENSE STRUGGLED LAST YEAR AND DID NOT LIVE UP TO ITS HIGH EXPECTATIONS. ISAAC BRUCE IS A BAND AID, BUT HARDY IS THE RECEIVER OF THE FUTURE.
30. Green Bay Packers -KEITH RIVERS, LB, USC
- GREEN BAY IS IN POSITION TO TAKE THE BEST PLAYER IN THE DRAFT. THIS GUY IS THE #1 LB IN THE DRAFT. EASY CHOICE, PARCELLS IS HEARTBROKE IF HE CAN’T TRADE BACK INTO THE 1ST TO PICK THIS GUY UP.

31. New York Giants -REGGIE SMITH, CB-S, OKLAHOMA
- NEW YORK LOST A COUPLE OF DB’S IN FREE AGENCY AND WILL BE IN A WORLD OF HURT IF THEY DON’T BUILD IT BACK UP. REGGIE CAN PLAY SAFETY AND CORNER WHICH IS A BIG PLUS GIVEN THE SITUATION WHICH HELPS SINCE THERE ARE NOT MANY GOOD SAFETYS IN THIS DRAFT.

HI. WE ARE A CHEATING ORGANIZATION. WE ARE DIRTBAGS. PATRIOT FANS ARE FAKE AND
BANDWAGON LOSERS!!! |
Yea, landryhat, your right. Kansas City is kind of a tough one. Jake Long will be their #1 choice, but he will not slip to #5. ( where’s the beef ) , but after reading what I put there, the details sure as hell aren’t right. I will not drink next time I update my mock draft. I promise. AS for Glenn Dorsey, I think he will have to have a good showing at his pro day workout this week and show everyone that the knee is OK, and that will definately get his stock back up. Until then I don’t see him being in the top 5. Sorry. Vernon Gholston in my very own opinion is the best defensive end in this draft, but with a product of Howie Long at the same position, in the same draft, I think that is a big determining factor for him being chosen 1st. IT would not surprise me if Miami were to choose Gholston though. I think after really thinking about it, that someone like Otah, Clady, or even Branden Albert could be that guy for Kansas City. As far as Manningham goes, I don’t know where this guy will go simply because I don’t know whose team meetings he showed up for. He’s got some serious problems though if he gives the best team in football the cold shoulder.
March 22nd, 2008 at 12:24 pmThis is definitely a unique mock draft. LandryHat… Dorsey’s stock has plummeted due to the injury rumors circulating. The word is he will not be able to last long-term in the NFL. For that reason, I see Sedrick Ellis passing him up, and since the draft is based on team’s needs, I *DO* see Dorsey possibly dropping to 9th. I agree it won’t be 10th, but it could be as low as 9th. The Bengals will grab him though, and especially over a WR, as depicted on this mock draft. Thats about the LAST thing they need, even if they let Chad Johnson go. Speaking of Ellis, the Chiefs will not select a CB, they will go with Ellis… I could see Devin Thomas going before Mario Manningham. It just depends on the team’s preference. There are some things set in stone in this draft… McFadden will be the first RB selected. Jake Long will be the first O-Lineman. Matt Ryan will be the first QB. But, as far as CBs and WRs go, and the second tier of the previously mentioned positions, some teams could very well surprise some people with their selections for some odd reasons. Yeah, Vernon Gholston is a top 6. He could even go as high as 2, if the Rams surprise everyone and choose to go that route to improve their D-line instead of their O-line imrpovement in Jake Long……… Overall this is a whacky mock draft, but alot of the bold predictions could happen because of what I said earlier (no obvious first choice in most positions)…….. As far as the Cowboys go… I think if we stick to draft picks and don’t do any trading up, we will end up with basically the same players. You could argue 50 different combinations of who it would be, but its basically the same (a good CB, a good WR, and a good RB). For instance, in RB, it could be Felix Jones, Chris Johnson, or Jamaal Charles. This draft’s depth is absolutely perfect to meet our needs. The Cowboys will have one of the best drafts this season !
March 22nd, 2008 at 12:25 pmIf Kansas City takes an OL, Jenkins is on top of New England’s list as a #1 pick for them. THAT also would be a good thing for Dallas in chances of getting a better corner with that #22 pick, thats if they don’t trade up. But even then we are back at the same discussion and dislikes you had with #9’s mock draft. Leodis McKelvin likely would drop to Arizona and then he wouldn’t be a top 10 pick. SORRY man, not all these guys are going to be in the top 10. It’s about team needs.
March 22nd, 2008 at 12:32 pmWIERD AND WACKY, shit I love you guys!!!
March 22nd, 2008 at 12:34 pmI’m goin outside now to talk will Bill and Hank. Got some drinkin to do. When I get back, I wanna here from everybody out there just how awesome this mock draft really is, read all the details though. Don’t stop on #5 just cause I screwed that up. MILLER LITE , the choice of the wierd and wacky. Gotta go now.
March 22nd, 2008 at 12:39 pmI drink Miller lite like it is water, too. Damn shit keeps me less fat
March 22nd, 2008 at 1:12 pmThursday, Mar 20, 2008 9:10 am EDTHoushmandzadeh isn’t happy with Bengals, either Getty ImagesAs Bengals receiver Chad Johnson has made sure everyone knows in the last couple of days, he isn’t happy in Cincinnati and isn’t planning to show up to off-season workouts. But Johnson isn’t alone according to Profootballtalk.com. Citing television sources, Profootballtalk.com reported the Bengals’ other starting wide receiver, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, also is expected to skip the start of the voluntary conditioning program. Houshmandzadeh is in the final year of four-year contract and is scheduled to make a base salary of $2.525 million, and he thinks that, coming off a season in which he tied for the league lead in receptions, he’s worth more than that.Skipping conditioning might not be a huge issue: Houshmandzadeh also skipped the team’s voluntary off-season conditioning last year, and he still managed those 112 catches. So maybe he doesn’t need to be with the team in March to be ready to play in September.Source: Profootballtalk.com

March 22nd, 2008 at 3:17 pmT.J. is at the end of his contract. Chad Johnson is a fruit loop. That is why I think Cincinatti very well could capitalize on a trade with one of these guys. Probobly will be Chad, but he will not end up in Dallas, thats for sure. Maybe Oakland. Maybe Washington. They like the mental cases.
March 22nd, 2008 at 3:21 pmCowboys accidentally show their draft board By JasonBPosted on Thu Mar 20, 2008 at 04:36:51 PM EDThttp://www.bleedinggreennation.com/s…/20/163651/689A poster on the NFL Draft countdown boards posted some screenshots of a news report done at the Cowboys headquarters.I would love to get Wade Phillips in a poker game one day. Chances are at some point he’d show all his cards…From what I can see they have the DBs rankedDominique Rogers-CromartieLeodis McKelvinKenny PhillipsMike JenkinsAqib TalibTyrell JohnsonTracey PorterThat’s about all I can make out. They also have their defensive line rankings out, but it’s impossible to see. Considering that most teams guard their draft boards like it’s a collection of nuclear codes… this would seem to be a pretty careless move on the Cowboys part. Good luck trying to maneuver in the draft when every team knows who you’re after.posted by The Gryphon at 9:29 PM
March 22nd, 2008 at 3:29 pmI found a scenario on Draftek.com a few days ago that had the Cheaps pulling this very intreaging trade with none other than the Dallas Cowboys. The Chiefs trade pick 5 and exchange another pick (I can’t remember which one, they have since changed the scenario) for Dallas 22nd, 28th, and 62nd picks.So…. Here is where things get interesting. We know how much trouble King Carl has signing 1st rounders and getting them to camp on time….. Let’s try two of them. But, this trade allows them to make a big impact on the holes in the O-line. And gives them lots of room to work later in the draft. Here we go:Round 122 Brandon Albert OG from Virginia28 Anthony Collins OT from KansasRound 1 addresses the severe need for O-linemen.Round 236 Gosder Cherilus OT from Boston College62 Charles Godfrey CB from IowaI found this just now on Arrowhead pride and thought I would share it with those of you who haven’t seen it.
March 22nd, 2008 at 3:39 pmahhh so this is the famous mock draft….(brought to you by steamroller) I gotta say this is a very unique mock. I have to question some picks but hey its cool. DR-C and a RB go to Dallas so thats the important part.
March 22nd, 2008 at 3:42 pm#9, it is important that you know that eventhough this is my mock draft without trades, come draft day, there will be trades. And if the Cowboys can pull in McFadden, they will. So it’s all bogus anyway. Lets just hope that Miami takes D Mac at #1 so Dallas can move on to secure a good first round CB. Then again, we all know this is not going to happen. By the way, if no trades were to take place, I know your mock draft would be more on target, but all that matters to me is what Dallas does. Screw the rest. They are losers. I admit, you know your shit. Lets start round 2.
March 22nd, 2008 at 8:03 pmThats what Im talking about Steam!!!
March 23rd, 2008 at 10:24 amAs a Carolina Fan, I would love to get Vernon Gholston but the reality is that he will not make it out of the top 5. The only way for us to get him is to trade into the top five. Some say he is will be the #1 draft pick — I don’t doubt it. But, if the Panthers get him, I’ll be popping champagne bottles.
March 23rd, 2008 at 12:16 pmMy senseless mock draft comin’ to ya soon Landryhat.
March 23rd, 2008 at 5:33 pmWhere in the world do these Dallas fans come from?? Cincinnati drafting a WR at 9? Nope. We will keep CJ and TJ in Cincy (disgruntled and all) and go for Defense. Cincy should be able to pick up a top 3 Defensive Lineman at #9. With the addition of Utecht at TE, TJ Houshmandzadeh will be able to stretch the field a little bit more, giving the underneath, third down reception receiver job to Utecht. This will allow CJ to finally get away from double coverage. That’s the real reason he wants out of Cincy. He can’t make the big plays anymore because he’s blanketed. He’s an egomaniac (with great skills) but needs to be stroked on occasion (a la T. Owens).
March 24th, 2008 at 12:46 pmWOah, folks, look who stops in but none other than a Bengals fan. Holy crap. They still exist. You listen here StripeHype, we will take Cinco from you since you guys don’t respect him. And I heard you on our radio program saying TJ is better and a top 5 receiver in the NFL. Fine. Pay him then. PAY UP!!!
March 24th, 2008 at 12:52 pmHey stripe since ocho cinco doesnt want to be in cincy why dont u gives us ocho cinco and we’ll send u the 28th pick…how about that??
March 24th, 2008 at 12:58 pm#9…no one wants to be in cinci…some guys are just more p.c. than others and don’t voice it in public. Wise up and stop day dreaming that the "glory days" will ever find Cincinnati. If you want to be part of a winning and HAPPY organization…we can punch your ticket and you can hop a ride with all the other band wagoners…welcome to America’s Team!
March 25th, 2008 at 9:01 pmThey may even wait until the second round to pick a RB as there are so mnay good ones. They may even pick Kenny Phillips or Reggie Smith at 28 giving them a CB and Safety in the first round. WR is tough to call, but they have hopes for Isaiah Stanback, their WR pick from last year. Could go with a OT if one they like falls to 28 as well. They seem to not mind picking up the “leftover” RB’s as they had the same strategy when getting J Jones.
March 25th, 2008 at 9:33 pmKC won’t pass on Dorsey, bank on it
March 31st, 2008 at 9:52 pmYeah, I agree Neil. Octopus starts this trade out a bit off. He warms up
March 31st, 2008 at 10:22 pm
