Oh no dont worry steam I can wait, I also emailed LandryHat my new mock draft and I gotta admit its much better. Besides talking about the desperados, the way I understood is that if there is an opening to trade for D-Mac Chances are he will do it but Jerry Jones also understands how much it will cost to trade that far up to draft D-Mac. He also mentioned that the salary cap might present some problems but I guess we'll see...

LandryHat, I went in and fixed that pick and e-mailed the corrected version to you. I did notice after I sent it to you and proof read it after all the other corrections that on the 10th pick with New Orleans toward the end it says on of the which should be one of the. I skipped the e. other than that, I hope you like it. I know #9 and I are going for that prize, but I gotta tell ya. To do too many of these, I don't see my selections changing too much without the projected trades. But I see where your coming from in going that way. It can get really unrealistic.

#9, if you want to see my mock draft, I will e-mail it to you if you feel comfortable giving your E-mail address on here that is. If not, theLandryHat says it will be posted next week hopefully. By the way LandryHat, did you get my NYG update on that #32 pick. I screwed up in the one I e-mailed you and left the trade in there. Read the comment under the mock draft prize post you put up a couple of days ago. Also, #9, I only caught the end of that interview where he was talking about picking up a reciever who can stretch the field like T.O. Basically, a strong #2. One thing he did say though included his high hopes for Terry Glenn next year. I second that. I don't see a rookie coming in and making a huge impact this year with what is out there in this draft. The good ones will go quick and it's not a very deep position. What did he say about D MAC?

Brutal Rage, I think that you are on target with the linebacker situation. Jerry very well could include a linebacker or two in the trade. The one who caught my attention as a high possibility is Akin Ayodele. When the Cowboys signed Zach Thomas it was on the Dallas Cowboys website (correct me if I'm wrong) that Ayodele came in for a visit just to see what his role was now on the team. I haven't heard anything about the situation after reading that, so it raises a ? ......also, I read yesterday, and I posted before, that another draft prospect at ILB has a meeting with the team (Beau Bell UNLV) If this is good info, one would have to seriously question just what is going on. I don't know too much in detail on salary cap stuff, but I think what will make the most difference to make up cap space is what theLandryHat posted on here with the long term structured contracts of Canty, Newman, Barber, and Ware. I was also talking to another guy yesterday who has reason to believe that Greg Ellis also could be part of a trade. Purely speculation, but still you would have to believe at some point Anthony Spencer takes the reins, and again, I don't know what all this does to cap #'s.

Im sure Jerry Jones understands that we are in the hardest division this year. Also he is probaly thinking of the Giants defense and how they were probaly the hardest match for the Cowboys. Im sure Jerry wants another weapon on his offence to make it that much harder for the Giants. Another reason D-Mac keeps popping up as an option also. Who knows what Jerry is going to do. We have to look towards the draft for who we are facing now while we have a team that is Super Bowl potential. Another thing how much space could we clear up in the draft if we get rid of some of the LB that we have. We are overloaded with talent and some of our first round picks are not getting a chance due to veterans.

I caught the whole interview steamroller, correct me if im wrong but the way i understood it, seems like its 50/50. if there is a shot to trade for mcfadden jerry will take it but i think he realizes how expensive its going to get so he could stay put with the picks, or possibly trade out of the 1st rd with 28th pick but who knows. also a WR is possible in the 1st rd. they should approach the draft with the best player available for the positions in need (CB, RB, WR does not have to be in that order) I wonder if someone posted the interview on youtube...

Yea, I caught the end of it. Seems like a WR is high on his mind doesn't it. I hope he doesn't trade up to get one though. Speaking of wide recievers, what do you think about James Hardy from Indiana? I think he would be a good pick for Dallas in the first round at the #28 pick if available. Maybe not as good as some corners or RB's that might be around still though. I know a lot of you don't think much of Chris Johnson, but I really hope he is the RB. There are a few CB's that I think would fit well ,and even a few that could very well even be around in the third. Not one of them, but possibly Brandon Flowers from Virginia Tech. What would you think about Chris Johnson #22, James Hardy #28 , Brandon Flowers in the second. Just another possibility in the current order.
