What? Don’t know who Chris Johnson is? Well, watch this:
Chris Johnson is a running back out of East Carolina who just so happened to have the fastest 40-yard-dash speed of any current draft possibility at this position. The video shows that speed. I pull out Chris Johnson for you to view because I wanted to make a point at how strong this draft is at running back. Chris Johnson is not even projected to be a first-round pick.
The Dallas Cowboys could select Johnson possibly in the second round, maybe even trade up in the second round to get him, and still select a cornerback and wide receiver with those two important first round picks.
So there you go, meet Mr. Chris Johnson.

Its hard not to know who this guy is. He put up the fastest time in the 40 at the combine EVER ! He’s only 195 though. He would make an excellent return man and is definitely a change of pace back. That’s why I say Jerry Jones can’t screw up this draft if he tried. The tables are set to meet our needs no matter how it happens.
Barry Sanders was small and elusive. Don’t make your judgement based off that. This guy compares. He tops my list of RB’s in this draft. I definately think he is a better value than D Mac, but I think at the same time Jerry will take D Mac because he is the biggest think out of Arkansas in a long time. Another guy that is small, fast, and just downright impressive to me is DeSean Jackson. Put him and Eddie Royal at wide reciever in rotation along with Chris Johnson and T.O. on the field, it wouldn’t take long for someone to hit paydirt.
You know, I was thinking today. And that can be dangerous I know, but remember back in the day when the Cowboys won playoff games and Superbowls to boot. Not way back in the day, but 92-96 era. We had a back that could drive the ball on third down like no one I’ve ever seen before, and he plowed road for this guy named Smith. Smith didn’t come down on initial contact either. Watch this guy in this video. I see blazing speed. elusiveness, and a guy who doesn’t come down on initial contact. Barber could plow road as good as any fullback. He can run the ball damn good though too, especially in short yardage situations. What I am trying to say by all this rambling is Barber= Moose+, and Johnson= Smith-. Not that anyone could compare direcly with Smith, he was a football god, but this guy to me is comparable in the way he runs the ball to great backs of the past.
This guy will compliment Barber like no other RB in the draft. If Jerry is looking for a future #1 as I believe the case is, D Mac is a better choice. I personally like the idea of complimenting Barber better. He busted his ass to get where he is now.
Wow blazing speed and 40 time who was it last year that was similiar oh yeah frigging chris henry are you people insane ? D-mac is the only answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris Johnson is the best RB in this draft. Even though the Eagles have Westbrook, I hope they draft him in the 2nd round. Infact I have them currently picking him in the 2nd in my next mock draft(will be out soon).
If the Eagles draft him in the second with the pick up of Stallworth, Avery, and Caldwell, it wouldn’t matter if Dallas drafted Jesus. …Please Jerry, keep those 2 picks. Oh yea, the Eagles have a vagina at QB, it doesn’t matter, give them Moss and T.O. too. Romo will bring Jes. Simpson to BLOW you away.
Think about the second round of drafting now, we will be more productive that way. The RB spot will be filled in the first round, I think we all agree. I think Eddie Royal(WR V.T.),Brandon Flowers(CB V.T), or Patrick Lee(CB Auburn) are priority in that order. What do you think.
I think the the Eagles should draft a punter in every round. That would be best with that joke of a quarterback they’ve got. Westbrook is all they have, not even Stallworth and Samuel will be able to help when they come face to face with a real football team, complete with T.O., D Mac and the groundskeeper himself , Eagle’s D WARE!
Guys, be sensitive to Ian. He is so in love with McNabb that I really feel sorry for him.
Landry, you threatened to ban me for no apparent reason and then ignored my question. If it matters, my name on Riggo’s Rag now appears as "Redskins Guy" and not "gehenna." I’ll repeat my post here and with luck you won’t continue to ignore me or abuse your power without explaining yourself a little: I’ve never made any attempt to hide who I am, in fact I think I made a post on this site announcing it when I made the change in January. If there’s some sort of rules violation that I need to abide by, I’ll happily do so if you’ll point me in the right direction and inform me of what the rule is. So far all I’ve seen are unprovoked threats for no apparent reason. If this is just some sort of demented way to pick on me, kindly kiss my posterior.
You are under alert. If you do not end these attacks, I will be forced to unleash Lance. You do not want Lance following you, Tulip. So, I again, ask you to stop these senseless attacks on my incredible site.
He looks like Julius to me. An NFL linebacker or end would get thier hands on him and he would go down.
Out of the speed back trio of Felix Jones, Chris Johnson, and Jamaal Charles, Johnson might be the best option, not only because he’s got the most starting experience, and he’s as sure-handed as they come.
