I think your initial trade idea between the Falcons and Cowboys would have been a classic one, and would have benefitted both clubs. But with Hall in Oakland now (what a good get for the Raiders; are they on the rise or are they Fool’s Gold?) what do you think the odds are of Jerry getting up in that Top 5 for McFadden. I put in my most recent mock that he’s going to have to settle for Felix Jones, a guy that I think is going to be a very good pro in his own right. James Hardy of Indiana is one of the more interesting prospects in the draft, based on his size-speed ratio (ran a sub-4.6 at the combine), and college production. A red zone monster, the 6’6 Hardy is a mismatch for any defensive back in college or the pro’s. Indiana isn’t a high-profile team, so if you didn’t catch Hardy this season, the stats say a lot: 74 catches, 1075 yards, and a whopping 16 touchdowns. Hardy failed to score a td in only ONE game this season, a loss at Wisconsin.

If Dallas signs Pac"onedollar"man, you may be right in the attempt to trade up. I would rather see Dallas use both of its picks to get a RB, WR or CB/S. Some good RB’s will fall to the late 1st round. Plus it will save the huge cost of signing a high pick
