Marion Barber Talks

by Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys will approach Marion Barber’s agent this week to discuss a long-term deal. His agent, the dreaded Drew Rosenhaus, has said he will be seeking a long contract for his client.

Most of us would like to see Barber back in the Blue and Silver. It makes all the sense to sign him to a long-term deal. But the Cowboys have to be careful not to overpay for him. It is very likely the Cowboys will seek a running back in this upcoming draft, and all of us are on edge a little bit because of the Darren McFadden rumors.

I’d like to see Barber signed to a four-year deal. The Cowboys can draft Ray Rice or Felix Jones in the second round.

Those first two picks need to be a cornerback and a wide receiver.

John, I like Reggie and Talib but think they might be gone as well.  I would take Reggie first probably because of his versatlity.  But we will have to see how he times at the combine.

yeahh i know hes going to be gone by the time he comes around to us... how do you feel about reggie smith/cason or talib? i do like reggie smith myself

John,Mckelvin will be long gone by the time we draft him.  I would love to get him as well.   A lot think he can be a Hester Jr. in the retun game on top of being a great corner....

i really like manningham as well....i want CB Leodis McKelvin so badly and i am going to be awfully upset if those cheating scoundrel Patriots get him

The only receiver I hope they get if they spend a first round pick is Manningham or Kelley.
