Michael Strahan: Dallas Cowboys ‘Best Team’
Michael Strahan knows football. Not only are Dallas Cowboys fans kicking themselves that the Giants won the Super Bowl, but the players must be too. In an interview with the New York Post, Strahan said the Patriots were not the toughest team they faced all year.
“Trust me, that is the best team we played, the Cowboys,” Strahan said.
Now I’ll be damn. Did he really just say that? My stomach turned a little. There is no doubt that loss to the Giants was the toughest I ever had to watch as a Cowboys fan. It was much tougher than the loss to the Seahawks last year.
But Strahan’s comments provide some perspective into how good the Dallas Cowboys were this year and just how hard it was to see them fall apart at the end of the year. Lessons must be learned from this season.
That just makes the choke job you pulled all the worse. Maybe you’re right. Maybe you SHOULD have won the superbowl. But you didn’t even win a single playoff game! Ha ha! Choke much? Eleven years…or make that twelve years now. Ha ha ha ha!
