Tony Romo Might Want To Try This

There’s been some chatter about Tony Romo’s comments about his relationship with the fans. He once said he doesn’t listen to us much because in 8 years we won’t even remember him. Okie dokie. I hope we DO remember you Romo because we are counting on you to get us a record sixth Super Bowl.

But if there is any further evidence that Terrell Owens has turned a new leaf, just check out his Web page. He wrote us all a letter, and I have to say, I think that’s pretty cool and respectful.

TO ALL OF MY FANS:

With our loss to the Giants comes the end of a great ride for this season. We win and lose as a team, and I loved playing with this team. With 13 regular-season wins, which tied the franchise record, we won the NFC East title for the first time since 1998. We also had 12 Pro Bowlers, the most of any NFL team. That alone makes for a successful season.

It is an honor being part of the Dallas Cowboys organization, and I am committed to bringing a championship to Dallas and our great fans.

I want to thank all of you from across the country for your amazing support and encouragement during the season. I appreciated hearing your cheers and best wishes every week. It really meant a lot to me, and I am truly blessed to have you on my team.

After the Pro Bowl in February I’ll continue to work with my Catch A Dream Foundation. I will also participate in other important activities on behalf of the community.

In the spring I’ll begin my training for next season. I am going to do everything possible to get stronger and improve my game, and I’ll be back, better than ever. Trust me on that.

Thanks again for all of your support.

Getcha popcorn ready.

Terrell Owens, #81

Well it was big enough to make headline news at the local Cowboys sites.  I have it on good authority that "he had a few big games and was a big contributor to this 13-2 season" and that "it’s another key signing the Cowboys made." I can understand if you don't put much stock in the author though.  He is sort of a crazy psycho and a rabid homer.  You can read the whole article at   http://thelandryhat.com/2007/12/27/a-richer-patric...

I am not sure 14 million can be considered a "big deal" Gehenna.

I had the day off. Patrick Crayton was on asshole duty.  We swapped schedules because he said he had some more things to whine about.  He's the future of the Dallas Cowboys you know; why else sign him to some big deal during the season?

Listen Gehenna, you on asshole duty today? I wouldn't say Romo choked in that game. I would say Patrick Crayton and Fasano choked. Two plays that guaranteed a Cowboys win. It could have been worse. We dominated the game statistically, but lost. I'm recovering.

Campbell didn't have a chance to play in the playoffs because he got injured. So we don't know if he can handle the stress or if he'll "pull a Romo."  But good ol' Tony has coughed it up twice at key moments and for two years now you've sucked in December and January.

Jason Campbell? Hello?

So you don't care if Romo listens, you just want him to win? How's that working out for ya, then?

"It's really unfair!!!!!" "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

I'm getting my popcorn ready for the big Cowboys-Packers game this weekend.Oh wait...

Gotta love the new T.O.! The one suggestion I'd give him is to spend the off season working on looking the ball in -- for an elite WR he has way to many drops.  And I could care less if Romo listens to the fans -- just win baby.
