Miami Dolphins Hire Tony Sparano
ESPN is reporting that Miami has hired Dallas Cowboys offensive line coach Tony Sparano, despite the horrible performance of the front line Sunday against the Giants.
Sparano, who probably mulled over taking the job all week instead of concentrating on the Cowboys game against the Giants, is no longer welcome here in my opinion.
Hashmarks Matt Mosely has an interesting post here about why Sparano is such a hot comodity for teams without a head coach.
I’m assuming offensive coordinator Jason Garrett is next if Jerry Jones doesn’t play Wheel of Fortune with him.
Our friend Phin Phanatic has been all over the deal. He has a few posts up here. I am waiting for him and other Dolphins fans to dance naked in the streets. I know it’s coming.

The Dolphins were 1-15 this year. Last year, they won 6 games and we watched the coach…NOT take the Alabama job…two years before that and we endured a 4 win season as Dave Wannschmuck left.Tony Sparano brings nothing to the table to make any of us dance naked in the street…Now, if the Dolphins make a deal for that 1st overall pick with Dallas…Clothing may become optional….LOL.
January 16th, 2008 at 3:52 pmIt’s interesting; whispers abound about Wade Phillips job security, yet viable candidates on his own staff are defecting. Things could get interesting if the Boys start slow next season.

January 16th, 2008 at 5:12 pmAnother one bites the dust. Dallas is getting ripped apart by the Dolphins.
