Jerry Jones is no Damn Fortune Teller!!

I love a team owner who does whatever he can to help his team win. Jerry Jones is one of those owners.

But what he did Sunday is so arrogant and inexcusable. Reports are that Jerry Jones gave his players extra tickets for the NFC Championship game before Dallas even got on the field. This kind of news was passed to the Giants, who certainly used it as bulletin board motivation. They sure looked motivated, didn’t they?

I never mind when Jones drops himself on the sidelines when the game is on the line. I think that pressure is especially good when we have a coach like Wade Phillips. But passing tickets to players to a game Dallas hasn’t even clinched yet was the dumbest move he’s made since pushing to draft Quincy Carter. Yes, Jerry Jones pushed to draft Quincy Carter.

If he thought this would spark some motivation in his players, it didn’t work. This was so hubristic that I am embarrassed at this present moment.

Sometimes, Jerry, you just go too far.
