I knew sooner or later a Giant would open his mouth and utter the infamous “we will win” garbage. This time, it wasn’t creampuff Antonio Pierce; it was Plaxico Burress.

Read it here. And although Burress doesn’t outright guarantee a win, his language is pretty obvious. He thinks the Giants are going to win and he really doesn’t think this will be a tough matchup in Dallas. Hilarious stuff.

“I don’t really think it’s really going to be a tough matchup for us, we match up really well on the outside and in the slot,” Burress said. “But as far DeMarcus Ware and some of those guys on the front line, there’s no doubt about it, DeMarcus Ware and some of those guys are premier pass rushers. So as long as we can block it up, protect Eli and get some time to throw, I don’t think on the back end in the secondary that they’re going to be able to hold on to us for too long.”

OK, OK. I hear what he is saying. He’s talking trash about the Dallas Cowboys secondary. He does make a good point about the pass rush of DeMarcus Ware and how important it is to protect Eli Manning, who we all know is prone to blowing a game for the Giants.
