Redskins Turn to Dirty Play, Cheating in Playoff Game

AUTHOR: thelandryhat | IN: Cowboys | COMMENTS: 10 Comments |

Facing a first-round loss to the Seahawks, the Redskins players are now turning to dirty plays and cheating to try and pull out a win. Down by 13 points and shut out in the third quarter, one Redskins player performs a very dangerous chop block during a kick off, a highly illegal move. Thankfully, the Seahawks player was OK. Also, the offensive line has been holding the Seahawks defensive front four ever since the second quarter. It is so obvious, yet the refs are letting it go because they feel bad about the death of Sean Taylor.

Just faced with a third and one, Clinton Portis couldn’t even make one damn yard. Joe Gibbs earlier went for it on a 4th and 1 and the offense failed to make it. This quite possibly might be some of the worst play from a team to make the playoffs in the modern era of the NFL. Gibbs goes for it again on 4th and 1 and the refs called a bogus pass interference call. The defender was looking back for the ball and their feet got tangled. Again, more ref favoritism for the underdogs. The Redskins finally are in the red zone for the first time in the game with the third quarter wrapped up. Todd Collins nearly throws an interception. This is hilarious.

The Redskins finally score but the offensive line committed three holds on the play. Unbelievable. Chris Samuel nearly pulled one guy’s jersey off. I need to get that on Youtube.

The Landry Hat predicted a 13-point loss for the Redskins. I hope you guys took the bet. There’s money to be had here. Keep checking this site as I point out more dirty play and holding calls that the refs ignore because they feel bad about Sean Taylor’s death.

I can’t believe you. Show some respect and show some decency. We played our hearts out and came up short. I can’t believe you’d watch that game and talk about cheating and dirty plays.  If that’s all you really saw, I feel sorry for you. It’s pretty pathetic that you can be that biased and jaded. I do notice that you criticize the skins for their inability to go 1 yard on 4th down.  I guess you’re still proud that your team got one yard last week…just remember that the yard you got rushing was over the entire game.  But seriously, show some respect and class.  Your inability to aknowledge any positive aspect of the teams you hate makes you into a pathetic caricature of a fan.  Your ability to fabricate malicious play and referee favoritism is absurd.  No wonder you don’t have many actual cowboys fans reading this site; the mastabatory fantacism you show your team is only equalled by the irrational venom you spew on everyone else.  Even they must get tired of your foolish assertions.

Would you like my password to see how many Texans visit this site everyday? I am considering removing this post for libel. That was awful and hurtful to read. I mean, woah.

I posted what I saw. I didn’t exagerate anything. I didn’t fabricate anything. I have the game recorded. I will youtube what I saw. Damn it. Do I have to delete my first post? Wow.

You do what you gotta do.  I posted what *I* saw. I didn’t exaggerate anything. I didn’t fabricate anything, though I admittedly have no knowledge of how many people from texas view this site; I only go off of the posts I see.  I’m sure that all those Dallas fans will rush forward to your defense if they’re really there, assuming you have the courage to leave the post and find out. You go ahead and youtube what you saw; if it’s anything like the Terry Glenn tackle that even Phillips admits wasn’t dirty, then I don’t see how it can change anything.  You see the guys legs get tangled up and a "bad" pass interference call; the rest of the known world (including the announcers) notice that, while their legs got tangled up, the cornerback then grabbed the Redskins receiver and dragged him down with him.  It’s not just what you note down; it’s what you omit and skew.   It’s the fact that you attribute terrible things to real live people, casually saying that they’re trying to hurt and end people’s careers.  Where I’m from, you don’t make accusations like that so readily.  There’s a line that you don’t cross and you can respect your rivals even as you hate them.  You seem to show no respect or integrity when it comes to your attacks on rivals.

You need to check yourself in the mirror right now and come back. You understand?

  5. gehenna says:

"Coach Wade Phillips says Landry’s hit was not a late hit nor was it dirty. Fine. I will live with Phillips’ decision. I won’t bring this up again unless it is proven that Landry’s hit was on purpose and that the Redskins we’re trying to cripple Glenn. "  You wrote that on December 31 and yet you continually bring up that absurd subject over and over and over again. And now you’re doing it again with another game. It’s irresponsible and classless to so casually make these accusations, especially when there really are dirty players out there who are breaking people’s fingers in the pile and stomping on people’s heads.

I do not bring it up anymore. You need to go take a nap or something. I had nothing to do with the 35-14 loss. This is a Dallas Cowboys blog, operated by a lifetime Cowboys fan. There is no law that I need to show class to my most hated team in the NFL. None whatsoever. In fact, I am going to create my own code of ethics here and the first rule is to smash your team as much as I possibly can because I love it. I love the reactions I get from you Redskins fans.
But then again, you guys are so full of class, maybe I should change my mind. All one needs to do is read the post on Roy Williams you guys did and that just was so classy and respectful and fair….I am not buying this.

Look in the mirror??? I never called your team cheaters. I never said that they use dirty plays as a part of their tactics.  I just took exception when you not only said that but you put it in the TITLE of your review.  Show some small amount of accountability and recognize that what you said was nasty.  But you know what? I’m okay with that. This is a Cowboys fan site and if you want to play the part psychotic fan you always accuse me of being, you go ahead.  But if you do that, you can’t turn around and cry about how awful and hurtful you feel after someone responds to your provocations. You can’t have it both ways.  You want to show some dignity and responsibility, it will be reflected back on you.  If you want to make extreme fanciful remarks and casual accusations, then be man enough to take the heat that comes with such "edgy" commentary.

Smoot should be fined for trying to de-nut Hasselbeck with his helmet.

I saw that. I saw that. But, hey…I am getting hammered and libeled right now so I will just let it go.
