A meaningless game for the Dallas Cowboys tonight really had the feeling of worthlessness. The Washington Redskins dominated the Cowboys to make the playoffs. Even if Dallas won, the Redskins still would have made it because the Vikings lost, too.
Dallas has a bye for the playoffs. The Redskins move on to play the Seahawks. There’s no need to get all grumpy over this loss. I could see from the performance that no one cared about winning. Tony Romo had his fourth questionable game in a row. He was 7-16 with one interception. Maybe the most glaring statistic is how the Cowboys ran the ball, a total of, I believe, one yard. Yikes.
”This Dallas Team, they have to be a little bit shaken with their confidence,” said former Dallas Coach Jimmy Johnson.
Time to move on and hit the playoffs hard. I am not sure who the Cowboys will play but I hope the coaches can prepare these guys for a Super Bowl run despite the slow pace to the finish line here in the regular season.
