Dallas Crushed 27-6

Rationalization is fun and easy!  You too can do it, and all your troubles will just fade away!  And don't forget -- as Dan himself observed -- if the cowboys had been spotted two touchdowns and a field goal...then they would have only lost by THREE points! Yaaay Cowboys!!!!

 We lost 3 games all year, Marcia. Philly, Pats, and Redskins. I am really not concerned. We did this last year and I thought the Cowboys played a great game against the Seahawks before losing on that infamous fumbled snap. Point is, the Cowboys didn't show up Sunday because they didn't want to.

I've watched every game this year. I'm not worried about the playoffs. The Packers are the only team that has a chance to beat us, but they won't. Remember, the Cowboys had a 17 point lead against the Packers before blowing it. We injured Favre. Our defense is playing better than ever. If Miles Austin makes those two damn catches and Romo runs it in the endzone instead of throwing it to a covered Witten, the game is a 21 point difference.

You put Gurode, Owens, Newman and Ratliff in the playoff games and it's a different story. The secondary was awful because they exposed the absence of Newman. Without Owens, no wide out needs to be double teamed and backs can cover easier. Ratliff is a force in the middle, although Ware played well. Gurode calls the offensive schemes for cripes sake. We continued to play Romo because it was the right thing to do. I don't want to discuss the outcome any further. It's over. I'm reading about it all over the newspaper I work for, too. The cartoonist is preparing a Redskins won cartoon. This is all stupid.

Come back if we lose in the playoffs. I will be ready to take it then. Not now. Not now.

I just think the Cowboys from the beginning of the season need to show up for the playoffs!!  Apparently they all left during the last three games and their Pod People are in there "playing" for them...........

While I sometimes differ on the ideology espoused in this reputable forum, I generally believe that this Blog is one of the most salutary Cowboys "blog" launched this millenium. So kudos, my good man on your magnificient opus of football endeavors.

Only someone as biased and deranged as you would try to claim that a 27-6 Dallas loss was a close call.   

Wrong. Keep in mind a few things: Miles Austin makes those two easy catches and the game is two touchdowns closer. Nick Folks hits that chip shot field goal and it's a 3 point game. Cut the shit, bud. I'm not worried.

Okay, I was mostly pulling your chain about the Romo thang. I AM curious about how he'll handle another playoff game.  I do smell one and done for the cowboys this year.  Even if the game was "meaningless" the cowboys still were trying hard to win.  They kept many of their starters (including Romo) for much of the game, and the starters were still in when we were up 20-3.   I'll conceed that Romo's a good quarterback but you can't claim that the Cowboys didn't want that win rather badly. They only seriously started benching people after the game got out of hand.  And in the end, we started benching folks too.

Are you effing kidding me gehenna? I mean Seriously are you effing kidding me>? You won the damn bet. I will write a post commending the Redskins. But don't effing come here saying Romo collapses under pressure and makes poor decisions. He's the reason we are 13-3 and have home field. I think the reason the Cowboys have slowed is because of injuries and the playcalling has been held back. We need to review the films of the first 10 games and play like that. I'm not too worried.
As for Bill, yes, I still think the HEALTHY Cowboys are better than the Pats. I do think the Cowboys can beat the Pats. This game was MEANINGLESS for the Cowboys. Why risk injury? Two dropped passes that would have been scores tell me that we had a chance to win. Romo didn't drop those passes, Ge.

Hey, if your boss says you're Romo-like, does that mean you make poor decisions and collapse under pressure? Just curious.  

I don't think the Boys are better than the Seahawks! Oh, and how about that real difference-maker Terrry Glenn! Still think he's gonna be your superbowl MVP? Zero catches for the game.  And total running yards? ONE! HAH!  How sweet it is!!!  You owe me an apology bukko!
