Dallas Cowboys Dominate Pro Bowl Selections

Eleven Dallas Cowboys were voted to the Pro Bowl by fans, players and coaches. That is just amazing and more proof that the Cowboys are not only America’s Team, but also the best team.

There were a few surprises in the selections: rookie kicker Nick Folk and safety Ken Hamlin. The rest were locks to get in.

Here is the list: WR Terrell Owens, QB Tony Romo, TE Jason Witten, RB Marion Barber III, OT Flozell Adams, OG Leonard Davis, center Andre Gurode, LB DeMarcus Ware and CB Terence Newman.

Congratulations to the Dallas Cowboys and these 11 players. Now go beat the living hell out of the AFC opponents.

In other news, safety Roy Williams is appealing his 1-game suspension for the alleged horse-collar tackle. As I have already said, I don’t think it was an illegal tackle. We’ll see what happens at the appeal, scheduled for tomorrow.

Jason your a dumb ass if you can't figure how well this team is playing then you really don't know the game of football.

CL, for the purpose of a headline, it is. What's your problem, anyway? I mean, I've got pretty thick skin, so continue on with your inane comments. That's one unique hit I wouldn't have if you stopped. I love you.

Is it possible to dominate Pro Bowl selections?

Wow Jason, what brought you here with such bitterness? A couple of things: I voted just once. Dallas did not get the asses handed to them against the Eagles, who are not a "piss-poor team." Dallas lost 10-6. That's a pretty darn close game. Dallas had many opportunities to win, but the offense wasn't playing well. First time all year. Go figure. As for Romo's thumb, I'm not too concerned. Dallas already had a first-round bye. We will be fine when it comes to the playoffs. I could really care less about these last two games and home field. I'd like to win them, but I won't be hurt if we end the season 12-4. However, with that said, I am pretty confident we will win these last two games and clinch home field through the playoffs.

I think this shows more the inherent flaws in saying that the vote you or I cast is of the same value as say an NFL head coach.  Not to mention that you or I are going to cast more than one vote.  Not to mention that this is the same Dallas team that just got their asses handed to them by a piss-poor Eagles team.  So in closure I would say go NFC in the Pro Bowl I hope the Cowboys lead us to glory, but Go Bucs in a game that actually matters.  Also, I wanted to say that Romo's thumb will not be 100% for weeks so have fun watching more games like last Sundays.
