The Eagles start the second quarter with the ball and driving in Dallas territory. On 1st and 10 at the Dallas 42 McNabb throws a bomb to Brown out of bounds. On 2nd and 10 McNabb throws underneath to Westbrook for seven yards. On 3rd and 3 McNabb is sacked by Ratliff. Eagles punt.

Dallas First Series: Barber gets the carry for 5 yards after a false start penalty. On 2nd and 10 Witten gets his first catch and Romo completes his first pass for 8 yards. On 3rd and 2 Barber runs for 11 yards on a draw play. On 1st and 10 Romo throws to Witten for about 20 yards and Witten makes great moves for another 20 yards inside the Eagles 10. On 1st and Goal, Barber runs for a few yards. On 2nd and Goal Romo throws too high for Terrell Owens. On 3rd and 10 Romo is picked off by Quintin Mikell but Tony Curtis levels a hit on him and Mikell fumbled the ball. Barber recovers. Eagles call time out to review the play. The official review is a fumble and Dallas recovery.

On 1st and 10 at the Eagles 14 Barber loses a yard on the run. On 2nd and 11 Romo throws out of the reach of Barber on the right. On 3rd and 11 Romo throws too quick for Owens. Nick Folk kicks a 33 yard field goal. Dallas leads 3-0.

Eagles Second Series: On 1st and 10 McNabb is under pressure and he throws it to the ground. Refs say Westbrook was in the area, so no intentional grounding. On 2nd and 10 Brown gets a first down on a 14 yard completion. On 1st and 10 Westbrook gets 3 on a pass over the middle. On 2nd and 7 Marcus Spears tackles Westbrook for a 1 yard gain. On 3rd and 6 McNabb throws incomplete to his wide open tight end. PUNT TIME.

Dallas Second Series: On 1st and 10 Romo throws a bomb to Witten and the ref throws a flag pretty late after the play. The flag actually is an unsportsmanlike conduct call on AJ Freely who is standing at the sideline when a ref runs into him. What an idiot. GET OUT OF THE WAY! I’ve never seen a flag thrown for that. On 1st and 10 Julius Jones runs for no gain. On 2nd and 10 Witten makes a 10 yard catch for first down. On 1st and 10 a pitch to Jones on right right goes for no gain. On 2nd and 10 Witten snags another catch (he’s got all of the catches for the Cowboys in the game, 4) for 10 yards. On 1st and 10 at the Eagles 45 Jones runs for a loss of 4 yards. On 2nd and 14 Romo has all day and he throws to Fasano for 10 yards. On 3rd and 4 Romo forces a pass to Owens, and Lito Sheppard jumps in front of it for an interception, Romo’s second INT of the game.

Eagles Third Series: The Eagles get the ball back with two minutes left in the game. On 1st and 10 Westbrook runs for nine yards. In 2nd and 10 Westbrook gets 3 for a first. On 1st and 10 McNabb is pressured and Ratliff tackles him after a 2 yard gain. On 2nd and 8 McNabb is pressured and he runs for a long gain to the Dallas 16. Westbrook then runs to the Dallas 6 yard line. With 41 seconds left, the Eagles spend their final time out. On 2nd and 4 McNabb runs a quarterback draw for a first down. With 20 seconds left, McNabb stops the clock at the Dallas 2. On 2nd and Goal, McNabb throws a touchdown to Reggie Brown. The Eagles lead 7-3.

Notes: Tony Romo is having so far his second-worst game of this year. He is 5 for 17 for 91 yards and 2 INTs.  He doesn’t seem to be as relaxed as he usually is. Once again, Terrell Owens has NO CATCHES. A pass attempt to Owens was intercepted, as it appeared Romo forced the throw to Owens. That’s a bad sign. The Dallas defense is playing great. Jay Ratliff and DeMarcus Ware are having great games. The secondary is playing well. McNabb, who has been pressured a lot, is playing well. Of course, Westbrook is a horse and is keeping the Eagles drives alive.
